Mashed Cauliflower
A great LOW CARB option to Mashed Potatoes
If you are trying to lose weight, or just want a possible substitution for Mashed Potatoes, then this is a great way to cut out about 30 grams of carbs per cup.
Ingredients:
Head of Cauliflower
Grated Parmesan
Black Pepper
Preparation:
1. Boil your cauliflower till it is tender.
2. Drain the water.
3. Mash the cauliflower.
4. Add Parmesan and black pepper to taste.
Feel free to experiment with seasonings. I would recommend choosing seasonings that have limited sodium and low to no calories.
